We have extensive experience in the engineering, design, and implementation of energy efficient and sustainable facilities and operations. Several of our staff are LEED AP certified professionals and have worked with numerous private and public sector clients on the engineering, design, modeling, specification, bidding and commissioning of new and existing high performance buildings.

Roles, responsibilities, project schedules, staffing, and communication protocols are clearly established at the beginning of each project. We meet with the project team regularly to review progress, challenges, and deliverables to make sure the project is properly resourced, on schedule, technical issues are fully reviewed, and problems are completely resolved. Documentation is thoroughly reviewed by mid and senior management with PEs who have extensive directly relevant “hands-on” field experience to make sure it’s clear, accurate, technically correct, and provides the most practical and cost-efficient recommendations, designs, and specifications.

B2Q is nationally recognized for its retro-commissioning expertise and comprehensive on-site building and equipment operations analysis. With particular expertise in the use of Building Automation Systems and trend logs to identify operating anomalies, we work closely with client facilities staff to identify and recommend low cost measures, equipment repairs and upgrades, and operational improvements, typically reducing annual energy costs by 10 - 20%.
