Our committees embody B2Q Associates’ commitment to growth, inclusion, and leadership. Each committee brings together people from across the company to focus on areas that strengthen our culture, support employees, and drive industry innovation. By working together, our committees help create a supportive workplace and lasting value for our clients and partners. 

DEI Committee

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee builds a welcoming workplace. This group leads initiatives, workshops, and conversations that advance equity and promote respect throughout B2Q. By providing resources and guiding policy, the committee helps ensure professional growth and opportunity are accessible to all.

AI COE

The Artificial Intelligence Center of Excellence, or AI COE, drives innovation by exploring new technologies and smart solutions for our clients and team. This group collaborates on research, pilots new tools, and shares best practices to keep B2Q at the leading edge of our industry. Their goal is to boost operational efficiency and bring the benefits of AI to real-world projects.

Women at B2Q

The Women at B2Q group empowers women across the company through mentorship, networking, and development opportunities. As a women-owned firm, B2Q supports an environment where every voice is heard. The group helps expand industry partnerships and inspires future generations in engineering.

Decarbonization Committee

B2Q’s Decarbonization Committee steers efforts to reduce environmental impact across projects and operations. This team promotes sustainable practices, educates employees, and develops strategies to help our clients meet decarbonization goals. Through collaboration and advocacy, the committee advances B2Q’s role as a leader in energy-efficient and climate-resilient solutions.

DEI Committee

The Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) Committee at B2Q Associates fosters a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive workplace for all team members. Bringing together representatives from across the company, the committee champions initiatives that promote diversity, equitable opportunities, and belonging within B2Q’s culture.

Mission

  • Advance awareness and understanding of DEI at every level, ensuring policies and practices create equitable access to professional growth and participation.

  • Organize educational programs, observances, and open forums that encourage conversations and learning around diversity, equity, and inclusion.

  • Guide the company on strategies that cultivate a culture of respect, empowerment, and collaboration, with regular input from employees.

Focus Area

  • Creating and maintaining inclusive hiring and onboarding processes.

  • Supporting mentorship, leadership development, and networking across demographics.

  • Providing resources, training, and workshops on topics such as unconscious bias and cultural competence.

  • Leading ongoing assessment and feedback efforts to continually improve the employee experience.

Women at B2Q

The Women at B2Q Affinity Group is dedicated to empowering women to achieve their full potential in engineering and leadership roles within B2Q Associates. As a women-owned company, B2Q is committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment that values all voices, perspectives, and experiences.

Mission

  • Expand on B2Q’s core values by creating a supportive space that encourages professional growth, mentorship, and community among women engineers and their allies.

  • Serve as an example in the New England AEC industry by building a workplace where women are recognized for engineering excellence and leadership, and by attracting the next generation of female engineers

Focus Area

  • Developing and strengthening mentorship opportunities for women at B2Q.

  • Creating regular opportunities for professional development, networking, and industry engagement through partnerships with groups such as CWEEL, SWE, Women in ASHRAE, and the Women’s Energy Network.

  • Supporting participation in local and national professional organizations and conferences related to women in engineering.
