B2Q provides engineering, design, and installation of energy efficiency improvements under National Grid’s Project Expeditor (PEX) program. As a PEX, B2Q is tasked with delivering electricity and natural-gas savings to the utility via efficiency upgrades to their commercial customer’s facilities & equipment.

Key elements:
- B2Q provides a “no cost” facility survey to identify qualifying efficiency opportunities
- Customer receives proposal from B2Q with project costs, savings and utility incentives (up to 50% of project costs).
- If customer approves proposal, B2Q acts as general contractor to oversee design, installation, and savings verification of approved efficiency measures.
- Project is completed and inspected by NGRID; B2Q gets paid by NGRID & customer*.
*On bill financing for the customer’s share of project costs, for up to 2 years, is available from National Grid based upon approval and the availability of funds.
